We alternate the heights of the brackets 64″ and 74″ from the cushioned bike hook to the floor so the handlebars don’t touch other bikes. Each #42488 bike bracket has a five foot long cushion coated security cable that can be wrapped around the bike frame and both rims, The secured with the bike owners lock.
If the bike room is initially spacious, The bike brackets can be centered every 24″ all at 64″ from the cushioned bike hook to the floor. The when additional bike brackets are needed they can be installed in between the existing bike brackets at 74″ high. If the bike walls are sheet rock, We recommend adding plywood supports over the bike walls for secure anchoring. The plywood support should be 24″ high x 2″ thick. Consider painting the bike wall and plywood supports in a matte or semi gloss finish for easy removal of dirt marks with a wet cloth.
